Meatloaf with egg

Procedure

  1. Lightly fry the meatloaf slices on both sides in a pan (or leave them cold – depending on your preference).

  2. In the same pan, prepare sunny-side-up eggs – the whites should be firm and the yolks runny, or cooked to your liking.

  3. Toast the bread until golden in a pan or toaster.

  4. Arrange the meatloaf on a plate, place the egg on top. Add a slice of toast, pickled cucumber, a leaf of lettuce, and sliced tomatoes.

  5. Season with salt and pepper, and garnish with herbs (e.g. parsley) if desired.

Tip: Tastes great hot or cold. Perfect as a quick dinner or snack.
