Ingredients

3 slices of our roasted meatloaf

4–5 slices of bread dumplings

2 onions
-
1 tablespoon of all-purpose flour

1 tablespoon of lard or butter

250 ml of broth or water

salt, pepper, a pinch of marjoram

Procedure

Slice the onions into half-rings and sauté in lard until golden.

Add the flour, cook briefly, then pour in the broth.

Season with salt, pepper, and a pinch of marjoram; simmer briefly.

Reheat or lightly pan-fry the meatloaf.

Steam or reheat the bread dumplings.

Serve everything on a plate and pour the onion sauce over.
